Try these at-home tips, if they don\u2019t provide relief, make an appointment today!<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Hot or cold packs:<\/strong> Try ice or heat treatments on the knee.\u00a0 Place a bag of ice cubes or even frozen vegetables in a towel to protect your skin.\u00a0 Apply the cold pack to your knee for 20 minutes.\u00a0 You can re-apply the ice if needed in an hour. You might want to try a warm bath\/shower before stretching or exercise to reduce pain and discomfort.<\/li>\n<li><strong>OTC Pain Relievers: <\/strong> Aleve, Ibuprofen, Advil and Tylenol are all good options to provide relief of knee pain.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Resting<\/strong> the affected area might be all that you need! Back away from your regular exercises program, but still continue day to day activities. Try to avoid staying in one position for too long, and avoid excessive repetitive motions.
